I wish I had a camera with a nice lens like yours
The lens and camera don't make a good photo. It's the eye of the photographer that matters.
Yes, that's true, but without a camera no photos get taken at all
Yeah, not sure my cell phone camera would cut it.
Unless you can manually play around with the settings, macro photography isn't possible with a smartphone.
I took great photos with the Canon T3i for years. All I had was the kit lens. Some of those shots are among the most viewed on my website.

You can also buy extension tubes. They give very decent results. ;-)
