Deserted in Goshenhoppen

in #photography7 years ago

Here's a series of captures from an abandoned homestead in Goshenhoppen, Pennsylvania.

There were some interesting items in the process of being engulfed by Nature including a John Deere 505 shredder, a Case 450 Loader-Backhoe-Crawler-Dozer-Tractor, a Renken boat, and lots of other neglected and long forgotten items.

Looks really creepy , reminds me of like zombies coming there

I can vouch for that, it certainly gave me an unsettled feeling walking around that place. There were no posted signs, so I took a chance 😳

Wow very very beautiful photography

Have a nice day Tanks @cognoscere

On these chairs, a lot of memories disappear.

You've produced and shared some really wonderful photo blogs this year. I've appreciated your travel sharing personally :)

Such an abandoned and sad property. I wonder why this happens and people don't live there and work the land and take care of the things there. Talk about going back to nature :)

Best wishes for the upcoming year @cognoscere!

Thanks for the kind words @countrygirl, I'm a fan of your posts too!!! I agree about the sadness of abandoned places, it makes you reflect on how things were and of the particular circumstances that led to the decision to leave it behind. Wishing you and your family a very Happy 2018!!!

Wow! Stupendous photography 📷.
Truly brilliant and amazing.
Thanks @cognoscere for sharing this post.😊

very beautiful
It looks great..........thanks for sharing

Those old barns/buildings are so very cool. And look like a lot of fun to dig about in. As I've said before, you have some amazing corners of the world to explore where you live. And a bit spooky at times. How often do you get run out of these out of the way areas?

You do indeed have a great way of expressing things buddy !
Nicely taken Images buddy !

So calm and eerie. The farm equipment and that boat! It makes me want to rescue them!
