Lol, I had to look up who King Joffrey is (I don't watch TV) but I think you are dead on the money with that one. It may just be his age and that sneer but I definitely see that resemblance.
I'm kin to several LEOs and many of my friends are ex-military as well, I try not to make blanket statements about them. Part of why I have so many photos of LMPD is that I am well aware that nobody really wants to hear more ranting about LEOs, if they can see how ridiculous they and their antics are I don't have to say much of anything, hopefully people can see for themselves why we have problems with some of them.
There's plenty more where this one came from, I will most likely post more soon, I've seen so many that make me wonder how they're managed to become a cop. It's a bit surreal and amusing when you're facing off with a line of police in riot gear and your first thought on looking at half of them is "I bet I've been in more bar fights than they've been in bars". . .
The sneer, yep that's what I meant. Disdain,l and arrogance...Probably masking the underlying emotion of fear I guess. Seen it many times.
I really like your shots, the B&W lends them a certain quality, sort of showcases the tone of them, no colour to take ones focus. They're unmasked. Me likey.
And yep, teenage cops...We have them here too, and they are probably no different to yours.
A wise Muppet once said "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering". . . I suspect you are right, it all adds up.
Thanks! I feel like B&W allows me to draw attention to the contrasts much more effectively. Unmas
