Claudia.
I've been experimenting recently with using my Roundflash modifier off-camera instead of a softbox or umbrella.
While not as big and soft as those, it still produces nice results, with a beauty-dish like look. I love how it looks when used with the 180mm lens. The subject really pops. The especially handy thing about it is how small it folds up, fitting in my backpack taking up about the same space as a camera body. For these pictures I had a friend simply hold the flash and modifier in place. A voice-activated-light-stand, if you will.
Check out the official promo vids of the Roundflash to see how convenient it is.

The quality is impeccable, the lighting works wonderfully toward your advantage! Great post, interested to see the result of other methods as well.
Another nice post @condra! Keep doing what you're doing : )
One of these days I will take photo's as good as these !! Very nice indeed.
Just beautiful!!
I've never used those before. How much do they cost?
Nice shots again @condra. How is the light distribution ? Everything evenly lit or is the bottom weaker. Looks like the flash connector is on the top.
Nice shots @condra. I wrote a post dedicated to you. Please read it. :)
Great photos dude, have you used the godox tt685s variant of the flash unit?
