New Year celebrations in the Philippines is widely known for its loud firecrackers and magnificent fireworks display.
However, the year-end celebration of 2017 was less noisier and the sky was not as bright as before. This is because, it has been reported that fireworks and firecrackers have been prohibited.
I am unsure if that report was true or not, but for better measure, we opted not to buy any fireworks and firecrackers –
and it’s a good thing since there are a couple of benefits to it:
• Nature is happy (obviously, since it means lesser pollution)
• Health benefits (for same reasons as above)
• Richer by 12k (My budget for firecrackers and fireworks since the wifey is in charge of food expenses – oh well, Lucky Me)
--- Note:
Photos is mine. Taken by me using my LG G3. It is a photo of a firework from afar
