I Like Traveling

These are some photos from a trip I took to Cambodia. I visited Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and Ta Prom. The temple ruins in this area are spectacular. If you visit I recommend walking around barefoot across the stone monuments. It really gives you a feeling of being grounded.

This particular structure was used in the filming of Laura Croft Tomb Raider. The jungle overgrowth is quite dramatic.

This statue is of the ruler during this time period. There are hundreds of stone images of his face at this site.

It's like he is watching.

Hope you enjoyed the pics. I would have liked to have more but mostly I took video on that trip.

Have a great day!

Those ruins look awesome!

If you're ever in Thailand, I'd highly recommend visiting Wat Maha That in Ayutthaya. There's a Buddha head embedded in a tree there.

Woah those pictures are brilliant I feel the culture, history an art all in 1 shot. But seen it in person must have a whole different effect. Like people made those back in the day with minimal tools an look how detailed the faces are still after decay. How big were the face statues?
