All right, my last photogrammetry project. This one was less about being an art piece than building it with a sense of realism in construction. I made the model out of wax, scanned it into Blender 3D firstly. Blender has tree generating plugins, but they tend to skip on the roots and the hollows and the gnarl a real old tree has, so this was important to make by hand. Then I built the terrain chunk, slathered on some Grass Essentials (this stuff is awesome for those not in the know), generated some Ivy Growth and viola! A dead tree.
