He can do a lot of damage I suppose. I've asked my dad what do we do and he said we can't do anything as we don't know where it is or they are in case there are more. I'm a rookie, I don't know. i guess we're going to see this year.
If it's a mole, it probably won't do much damage to your vegetables. It's actually good for your ground, because it loosens it. The mole hills will do some damage to flower beds or lawns, though.
If you want to get rid of it, you can eg. try to stick pinwheels into the molehills. They don't like the noise. They also don't like a number of smelly things. Just google for it.
