One of my favourite creatures ever are green turtles. Luckily, if you go to Akumal on the Riviera Maya, you are always guaranteed to see them. These beautiful creatures help maintain the health of sea grass beds which provide breeding and developmental grounds for many fish species.
Love these creatures, so docile. I went diving with some giant turtles recently in the Philippines. I would love to go to Mexico and that region too so I can see these ones also.

We are very lucky around here. You are almost always guaranteed to see one while diving, and at Akumal Bay you can see them all year around while snorkelling. I'd love to go to the Philippines!

I love Akumal! I have vacationed in the area multiple times and love snorkeling there. We usually go see the turtles and then go to Ya Kul lagoon for more snorkeling.
Oh, I love Yal Ku lagoon too! So many fish there, and such a relaxed and lovely place :-)
Yes. It is like snorkeling in a fish tank! And gardens are also very nice.
