De pequeño me fascinaban las películas de Hollywood basadas en batallas, comandos y héroes solitarios que luchaban solos contra todo un ejército. Cuando llegaba el mes de Septiembre el quiosco al lado de casa se llenaba de fascículos coleccionables de multitud de temas con ofertas en el primer ejemplar y con algún regalo incluido. Mi hucha la abría y bajaba a buscar alguno que me guste, y por suerte todavía guardo alguno de ellos. A mi hermano mayor le pasaba algo de lo mismo y sus coleccionables los destrozaría yo cuando era un mocoso, pero alguno de los suyos los tengo también guardados en casa.
When I was a kid I was fascinated by Hollywood movies based on battles, commandos and lone heroes fighting alone against an entire army. When September came around, the newsagent's next to my house would be full of collectible fascicles on a multitude of subjects with offers on the first issue and with a free gift included. I would open my piggy bank and go downstairs to look for one that I liked, and luckily I still have some of them. My older brother had something of the same thing and I would destroy his collectables when I was a brat, but I still have some of his at home.

"Cuerpos de Élite" was published by "Planeta De Agostini", put on sale in 1986 with a price of 195 pesetas, which would be about 1.1 Euros. This issue was bought by my older brother and it was probably the only one he had of this book as the price of the others went up.
Detallaba las tácticas y operaciones de las mejores fuerzas militares y policiales del mundo. De regalo traían pegatinas con las insignias militares de esos cuerpos de élite.
It detailed the tactics and operations of the best military and police forces in the world. Stickers with the military insignia of these elite forces were provided as a free gift.

Era una colección publicada en 1986 del que conservo dos fascículos que fueron comprados por mi hermano.
Trata sobre temas de la instrucción y adiestramiento de los futuros soldados. También explica el funcionamiento de las armas y equipos militares. Por desgracia muchas páginas están recortadas por mí cuando era pequeño. Usé las fotografías de los aviones y carros de combate para decorar mi dormitorio.
It was a collection published in 1986 of which I have two booklets that were bought by my brother.
It deals with the instruction and training of future soldiers. It also explains the functioning of weapons and military equipment. Unfortunately many of the pages were cut out by me when I was a child. I used the pictures of the planes and tanks to decorate my bedroom.

I used to have a lot of booklets but I lent them out and lost them. They even had examples of self-defence with military techniques. It has oil stains from my sandwiches that I ate while reading the booklets.

In 1995 a collection went on sale that mixed the history of aeroplanes of the First and Second World War, with the latest generation, great air operations and they had parts of model aeroplanes in each fascicle.

"Revista Española de Historia Militar" llegué a comprar algunos en la primera década del 2000. Su precio ya era en euros y eran más que fascículos, revistas especializas con gran detalle de cada tema.
I bought some of the "Revista Española de Historia Militar" in the first decade of the 2000s. Its price was already in euros and they were more than fascicles, specialised magazines with great detail on each subject.
