Forrest photography + Ninnu

in #photography5 years ago (edited)

I went to walk the dog with my dad and I took my camera with me, so I could take photos. We took Ninnu into the big forest near our house so she could walk around freely in the forest.

Ninnu

In the forest I took lots of pictures of birds, flowers and other plants and animals. Ninnu liked to explore about in the forest freely while we took pictures.

Liverwort (Anemone hepatica)

There were also pink liverworts in the forest

Thimbleweeds (Anemone nemorosa)

We also found this bird sitting in a tree very calmly even though we were quite close to it.

European greenfinch (Chloris chloris)

A monochrome version

This bird was just walking around an apartment buildings backyard

Common wood pigeon (Columba palumbus)

Mallard (Anas platyrhynchos)

Flowers

Alternate-leaved golden-saxifrage (Chrysosplenium alternifolium)

Daffodil (Narcissus)

Daffodils

This next one is interesting,it is not supposed to be growing here in Finland but monks from monasteries have brought it to Scandinavia with them. In the Middle Ages it was used to heal wounds and it was also used as Plague medicine. It has been classified as a harmful plant here in Finland.

Butterbur (Petasites hybridus)

European hare (Lepus europaeus)

Lingonberry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea)

There was this eye rock

Norway maple (Acer platanoides)

Wow! These photos are very good! I must borrow your camera!! Those tiny flowers look so sharp! You have so many wild flowers in the forest.

Those birds were so still, they did not see you taking they’re photos!

I think your dad might want to borrow your camera too! His birds’ photos were not so sharp! It must be because of his illness!

So glad to see your nature photos! They give very nice atmosphere if the forest!

Ninnu looked a bit tired! She should go chase the duck! LoL
