During our Valpurgis Night celebration, my friends and I discovered some fairy doors and even a whole fairy village at the bottom of Fairy Glen in Rosmarkie.

I was glad to have my camera with me and be able to photograph these cuties. This is one of the first we discovered:

Teapot and watering can houses in the Fairy Village are really awesome.

If you ever wondered where to find fairies this poem gives a clear answer.

There is a wishing well...

and a flower house....

This mushroom house could do with some repairs but it's still gorgeous.

There is even a bridge with a troll underneath. This one is definitely my favourite. I love trolls.

Perhaps I will move to this fairy Village. I think I would fit right in. It's totally my kind of place. :)

I love this! And I am wondering - have you been to Findhorn? I just got that old book The Magick of Findhorn because my bff and I are going to move to a ranch and I am hoping that I will be talking to the devas and spirits of the natural world...we already had some experiences in the city - he saw a tree spirit IN the city a few days ago. I prayed to the Deva of squirrels to save a squirrel he was going to live-trap that he thought would chew his wires - and it left without a trace - lately I have been talking with my heart to this one fish he has in his tank which was wild-caught... it's a new adventure. I was just wondering about your part of the world...

Hey! I forgot to respond to you. Apologies. :)

Findhorn is indeed really local to me but I still didn't visit. It's definitely on my agenda. I love plants and Findhorn sound amazing. It is easily accessible by car but to get there on public transport is a bit more tricky. I will have to plan it one day. :)

Scotland is really rich in folklore and you get a feeling that there are spirits and little people everywhere you go! Most places have a legend of one kind or another.

Nature is really close to people here so to meet a creature or two is quite common. Sometimes you get a feeling that they bring you a message or communicate with you as if they can hear your thoughts.

I hope you get to move to a ranch and have a great life there.

hey thanks for writing! I have been to Edinborugh after high school - back in 1982 and I remember feeling that way - it is a magickal place! i am reading The Magic of Findhorn and they go into detail about meeting Pan and other spirits of Nature - and boy would i like to have that experience... thank you for your good wishes!!! I might try to get to Scotland again and go to findhorn - but I just can't stand the thought of braving the NWO airport deal to get there and come back - maybe I will just expatriate... :)
