Monochrome Street Photography

in #photography7 years ago

In case you haven't checked it out I can reccomend participating in @brumest #monomad challenge that has a different theme for each day in the week. Today is Tuesday and the theme is street.

This is a photo I took on Hefang Street, which is an old ancient looking Street, in the south part of Hangzhou. In China you will always find Street food no matter where you walk, and I really like that, all the fragrances that flow in the air combined with the different views make it each Street interesting to explore.

In this photo I captured the famous steamed bun. They are a very nice snack and come with different fillings, usually meat or vegetables. They are super cheap as well, just 20 cents or so.

I'm quite happy with this photo because it captures the atmosphere of this Street. The stream further adds a nice mysterious look.

How about you; Do you have a lot of Street food where you live ?

this is such an awesome shot,

I totally messed up today did a flower monomad before realizing i had it wrong, its going to be one of those days I guess lOL

Thanks buddy ! Haha well it's not easy to keep track of them all I'll admit !

I normally keep on track but I lost it today lol

Great shot, I feel I'm here too! Here we have mostly kebabs, burgers and pizza take away. They are not that much, but well distributed in the city. Let's say you have to drive 5 to 10 minutes form one to another however! Recently in the area I live it opened a vietnamese take away. It's a couple, they just bought an old camper and transformed it, I love it!

Nice ! I miss Kebbab sooo much ! I can't wait to have till I go back. The overall layout of the restaurant sounds similar to back in Sweden where they usually also have quite some distance in between

Probably it is! Do you have herrings up in Sweden? I love them so much! What kind of street food you can find in China instead?

We do have herrings in Sweden :) In china they have all kinds of different fish, I never saw such a variety like they have. But I don't know the name of the fish, just Chinese name

Hehe where I come form they say what doesn't strangle you get you fat!
I definetly have to pass in Sweden on time!!

Photography is about photographer.Photography is the power of observation.Photography is the beauty of life captured.Photography is the only language that can be understood anywhere in the world...
