The first time I ever dressed up in Steampunk was for an event called The Youtube Hanami party. This is an event that a lot of the foreign content creators from Japan participate in to meet-and-greet with each other. During the event one of the creators, called JanglishJerry had invited me to go with him in my steampunk attire. I graciously accepted the invitation. I am exceptionally glad I went to the party.
At the party I met, two particular people, Alex Tran and his significant other Leona. They noticed my particular fashion style and proceeded to ask about a private photoshoot with members of my group. Needless to say, I was very excited about this opportunity as it would allow me to finally have my own set of photos for a portfolio. The event was hosted at Crown Studio in Akihabara, this is a small studio which had the perfect scenery for our style, and the price to rent the location was quite reasonable.
It took 3 hours, but after the event was done we all went to dinner and had a really good time. For a small photoshoot, I believe Alex Tran did a great job and he is a spectacular photographer. I've worked with him a couple of times, and he never disappoints.
Modeling is fun, but it is exhausting, and anyone who's worked in the business will know how much work and effort goes into it. But, photography is certainly no joke either. This is a good endeavor for anyone who's in Japan though. I would recommend anyone who's even a little bit curious to try it once.
Can steemians use these photos on Steemit or are they copyright. I want to start a steemit stock image and heard that we could use images on here but give credit but some will freely let steemians use them without. Please, let me know. I LOVE YOUR PHOTOS you are talented.
I'm only partial owner of these, so unfortunately I can't answer that question. :(
OK. Thank you.
I could try something though, let me get together with the photographer and see what we can figure out, perhaps we could arrange something. Unless, you have some suggestions I could throw his way.
