The "Three Sisters" mountain peaks, Canmore, Alberta, can be seen in the first photo. There was quite a bit of fog that morning in July. In the second photo, the Eastern tip of Mount Rundle is off in the distance, also beside Canmore. A Sony NEX 7 and 55-210mm lens was used. Which do you prefer, B&W or Colour?

Thanks to @papa-pepper for creating these logos for @daveks!
Great photos! Your photo of the three sisters mountain reminds me of my last years summer vacation. I saw them with my family and as you may guessed my two sisters. Although, we all have skype it's not the same as seeing them in person. So hopefully I'll see them soon.
It's a beautiful place to visit. Can't wait to go back again!
Thanks for looking
amazing pics ! good post
Awesome photos!
Sir your photos are just awesome special photos with I like most the 4th one cars with
Mountain hill
I really like the original photo of a colored mountain peak, because it's so perfect @daveks.
Black & white for both, methinks!
1st in B&W 2nd in Color!
The first photograph can go either way with b&w and then in color... I think the 2nd photograph looks better in b&w than in color. But that's just my personal opinion! I love b&w photography but I haven't to master it. I think film produces better b&w than digital. I guess it can be mastered in digital after awhile... I only ever had good luck and b&w with medium format 120 film camera's that happen to be low-fidelity aesthetic toy plastic cameras like Holga... Lomography.
All your photos are fabulous and look good in both variations. :)
Also I'd love to be able to go to the mountain peaks in Alberta and especially more into BC. I've only ever been to Ontario and I lived there almost 6 years... Ontario is big tho! I regret moving back to Florida as I liked it a lot better than the southern US... I liked Toronto for a larger city and then I liked going north to Muskoka to escape it all. :P
These are great pics. the three sisters are pretty cool... look fantastic
