Best of Banff

As was mentioned in the Last Post, canoeing on the Vermillion Lakes (located beside Banff) was such a great family activity. Mountain views from the lake were simply outstanding! Here are a few more photos that we captured that day. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for our canoe adventure on Lake Louise!

Some of these photos have been previously posted. I am reposting those photos in this "Best of Banff" series for the Newer users who haven't seen them yet. Some of those posts just "Slipped through the Cracks" without being seen by many anyways!

Those are stunning photographs. I'm glad you reposted them for us to see! I have happy memories of canoeing In Algonquin Park, Ontario, when my kids were small. We didn't see another human being during the whole trip - just wildlife like beavers, moose and loons! It was an awesome adventure!

Sometimes the best adventures have the fewest humans involved!
Thanks

Ah, you are so right there. I hate DisneyWorld and crowded places!

Always coming back to your post for an inspiration my friend. Wish you well and a blessed days ahead, @daveks

Great time indeed!

That looks so amazing. I can't wait until my children are old enough for those type of adventures.

Great family activity!

I saw that when I was there. It is like the ground just got buckled up.
I can't believe there is graffiti there in Canada too. Thuglettes are running wild up there too I guess.

There are few places in the world that dont have any graffiti...

Unfortunately they are.
Thanks for looking

It just looks so peaceful and serene there - love it :)

It was!
Thanks
