Summer Vacation Day #5
On our 5th day, we headed for the Lovely Lake Louise Objective: rent a canoe and take it for a ride around the lake! As we arrived, it quickly became apparent that there was no parking available by the Lake, so we turned around and went looking for other parking options. Found some about a kilometre away, then hiked up to the lake.
After the great canoe ride, we decided to drop by Moraine Lake, as it is only 20 minutes away by car. Just beside the Lake there is a massive Rock Pile, left behind by glacial activity. Perfect to climb (easy) for great views of Moraine Lake!

I've posted on emerald lake in the past. Like you said its awesome, it was going to be plan b if we couldn't get into lake Louise/moraine lake area due to the congestion.
