Ah yes, the bats under the Congress Avenue bridge-- used to be a "thing" we sometimes went to see, back when I lived there.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it -- and, really, just how solid a 'thing' it was.

If you miss it at all, even if only in terms of a short visit, it's worth mentioning that I stood by a guy who hadn't been there since 1990 and was loving it. I know the PNW is lovely, but ...
