My boys
Every morning my little guys are so excited to go out and play. They have so much energy when they wake up and all they want to do is run around the yard, chase each other, chase balls and check to see if any baby birds fell from the tree so they can get a quick snack.
Harley, the yellow lab in the picture above, just sits and waits for Titus, the husky, to take off running before he begins chasing him. After they make a few circles around the yard and through the bushes along the fence, it is time for a break to get some water.
Titus is in charge and Harley has to wait while he drinks first. So Harley has to wait patiently up by the fence while Titus drinks his fill.
With the heat we have here in the summer, Titus needs to be sure to get plenty of fresh water and we have to limit his time outside during the day so he doesn't overheat.
It kind of sucks living here where it gets so hot during the summer, but cold during the winter because he loves the winter time and his coat is perfect for that time of year, but during the spring and summer months, he is constantly shedding. I brush him daily and we have to vacuum our house constantly and the fur is still out of control during the warmer months.
Once Titus was done filling up with water, he was ready to play some ball, so I threw the tennis ball up to their favorite spot and they took off. Titus is much faster than Harley. Harley doesn't really try and get the ball anyways, he just runs after Titus and then when Titus get the ball, he runs off and watches to see what happens next and waits for the next throw.
Now if I had thrown the rope for them, Harley would be all about trying to get the rope and pull it away from Titus. Harley knows that he has the weight advantage when it comes to tug of war and can rip the rope away.
Hanging out with my homies every morning is a great way to start my day. It gets their energy out and when we are done playing, it allows me to get some work done while they lay down at my feet while I in my office. What is your morning routine that helps you get started every day and get those creative juices flowing?
I was totally thinking this was a euphemism, but you actually have some very beautiful dogs. Superb shot of Titus looking straight on with those piercing light blue eyes.

Your doggos are like.... wow, so wonderful ! I just want to hug them both forever <3 Harley and Titus ! Gosh, you take such gorgeous pictures of them, too ! I am just melting into a puddle of good here, going awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww for .... minutes. At work.
