Photoshoots involving kids are my favorite. Usually the worst part about them is dealing with the parents telling their kid to behave. This is when I have to remind the parents that I am there to take pictures of their kid being a kid and not a robot.
When you let kids be themselves, that is when the magic happens. You can capture little gems that the parents will treasure. Plus have you ever tried getting a two year old to sit still and smile for you? It's so much easier to make faces at them and give them things to do and capture their spirit.
I really like this picture underneath here because I told her that we were going to a special spot that was like a fairy forest because there was dandelion seeds floating in the air and the way the light was hitting everything it looked like little fairies flying around. When she was looking up, you could tell she was using her imagination and trying to envision herself surrounded by fairies.
Thank you for taking your time to read my post. I am looking forward to hearing from everyone and wouldn't mind other photographers feedback or tips, as I am always trying to improve.
I love this!! And getting a two year old to sit still is pretty near impossible, learn that trick and I think you'd make millions ;) I love the first photo where the first little wish is about to take flight! Keep up the awesome work!
