I do not think it's colder than in Canada. On the average - 20C. Rarely, when it happens - 30C. In the north of Russia, it's really cold in winter! - 40C is considered heat)))
Well, to be fair Canada has the same range of hot-cold that Russia does. I was comparing this to where I live, which is farther south but still has big swings in temperature. We get lows of below -20 C here, but definitely not an AVERAGE of -20 C, and I don't remember it quite getting to -30!
