In India, there is a festival called Chhath Puja which is devoted towards Sun God. It is an ancient Hindu Festival in which people gather at the banks of rivers and ponds and offer different fruits and flowers to Sun. This puja is offered to God Sun and his wife Usha in order to thank them for bestowing the life and to request the granting of certain wishes.
