Arashiyama itself means the western mountains is one of the main destinations in Kyoto other than Higashiyama area. Arashiyama is famous for his famous bridge, Togetsu-kyo. This classic bridge that helps the visitors to cross the river katsura. The landscape around Arashiyama is very beautiful, dominated by green in summer.
