44th Independent Command and Measurement Complex, Kazakhstan
Originally, this long-abandoned ruin was used to control the Russian Sputnik satellites at the beginning of the space age. The complex was built in 1956 on the western shores of Lake Balkhash and was once considered one of the most advanced bases for space observation and satellite control on the planet. Now a little girl is playing with it.
