A different city every night - Night 1, Paris

Tomorrow - we head to Luzerne, Switzerland!I planned a last minute euro trip - literally booked everything a week before leaving. I initially planned to leave last Wednesday, but luckily found a direct flight from NYC that leaves on Thursday. Just my luck, a huge snow storm hits on Wednesday morning, causing most flights out of the NYC area to be canceled. I took the red eye flight out (on time, too) and with no sleep, arrived in Paris at 7am. Interestingly enough, no immigration forms were needed. I literally got off the plane, stood in line for 2 minutes, handed the immigration officer in Paris my passport with no paperwork, and was free to go after a quick look and stamp. I’m pretty sure coming back home won’t be as quick and efficient. An hour taxi ride later (and a 10 minute power nap along the way), I quickly unpack a few things, take a quick shower and head out to see the sights.
