Lots of snow is beautiful, but not always safe. A few days ago there was a big snowfall. I already made a post about the walk on the night the Park with a camera. But in the morning my heart almost stopped from the excitement. I left the house, ready to swept off the snow from my car and saw this scene.
Thank God the damage to my car. I think that night the tree bent under a big layer of snow and slowly leaned back on the car. I was lucky. But there are people who are not lucky enough and their car was damaged.

That's the thing about nature; it can be breathtaking, but deadly. I personally love the sight and sound of thunderstorms, and watching lightning dance across the sky and strike at random, but I also know such beauty is equally as dangerous. Snow is the same way. Enchanting to look at, but not without its own perils.

Makes me remember the Ice Storm in Quebec in 1998, branches falling everywhere. Even telephone poles snapping because of so much weight on the lines.

Yes, too much snow causes mayhem in normal functioning of our lives. We have similar situations when we are doing high altitude mountain bike rides in Nepal. Sometimes our bikes come under 4 feet of snow.
