About the photo

Beach life is not for me. While my family was chilling on Praia do Amado in Algarve, Portugal, I made some scouting around and found a stony beach with the lovely pebbles hidden in the rocks. It looked promising, so I checked the sun position in Sun Surveyor and tide schedule in Tides Charts Near Me and realized there could be a possibility for a sunset photo. When I back there in the evening I wasn't disappointed. Low tide exposed the stone seabed with numerous pools. The soft clouds worked just amazing with the sharp texture of the stones creating together the strong leading lines to the rock.

To leave the beach I had to make a little bit of climbing. Thanks to some kind people, there was a rope. It made my night climbing way easier!

Guess next time I'm at the Algarve I'll put this beach onto the list. The reflections look great and I think it was worth the scetchy ascent after the shoot ;-)

Oh yes! These small pools are great on this beach. I have got some other shots from this place. Just need more time to work on it ) Sure, it was worth all the physical exercises ))
