Back in March myself, my wife, and her family went to Argentina. We crossed over through a border crossing from Chile, and stayed in a cabin in the town of Villa La Angostura. While the cabin had a pool, pool tables, ping pong tables, @alovelymess and I wanted to go check out the creek that was a short walk from where we were staying.
It was beautiful, and it had small area with a grill and bench if you wanted to cookout. Sadly, we didn't utilize the grill that time. We did get a few close ups of the water however!
The peacefulness of the water and surroundings was incredible!
And of course, an obligatory selfie from Argentina!
That is how life should be!

My number one travel rule is: never eat something you can get back home. No franchise - find a local place. Go native when possible. Your taste buds need a vacation too!
Great rule to live by!
We went to a local place called "Rancho Aparte" and had shredded steak, caramelized onions, and bbq sauce on homemade bread with homemade fries. It was fantastic!
Food experience marks memories of a journey because we eat with multiple senses. Good or bad, it stays with us forever. Don't Dream it, Steemit!
it's a good thing you do. It also helps to know more about local people and culture and saves money as well :)

We tend to remember the food of a place more than the sights.
So true! I can name almost every place we ate in Chile. Obviously the crappy ones didn't stick.
But, you will always remember the great ones. And, you will share with others.
