The reason for the 10 times a day is that right now, you run on 100% on every vote. If you do 10, it brings your power down to 80%, which, after 24 hours, goes back to 100% That is my understanding of it. I elected to go with 500SP and then I could have a sliding scale, allowing me to spread more votes across the board. I

Built up was the wrong word. I won some contests and was rewarded in other ways with SP. It helped a lot!
