Teotihuacan in Mexico City was built around 100 B.C. and was already in ruins by the time of the Aztecs. It still stands today and many artifacts are found daily in Teotihuacan, and the surrounding areas. It was made a World Heritage Site in 1987 and finds itself in an odd spot with increasing property values and a 21st century society . The city is clear and within sight when you find yourself on top of the sun pyramid.

Really great photos! What did you use to take them?
Thanks Laura! I shot these on my 35mm film point & shoot cameras. A Nikon L35AF and a Contax T3.
Those are the best pictures I have ever seen of Teotihuacan. I wonder if you have found writing or symbols that you have pictures of? I would love to see them?
I didn't see any writings, unfortunately. There are ruins dotted around the entire city. My uncle lives a few miles from a small patch of ruins inside a barrio. I saw writings and petroglyphs in the museums. I was absolutely amazed at the collection. I'll try and take pictures next time. Thank you for your words. I appreciate it
Thanks. Looking at the picture's you shared the builders of those pyramids were tech savvy. The idea that they were primitive doesn't jive with the ruins. I look forward to more pictures. Read you around and Steeming on. lol
