We found a great little spot under a gnarly looking vine to shoot this. The light was much softer under the trees that line the dry creek bed. Whenever shooting portraits outdoors, look for the softest light you can find which will reduce hard shadows.
(over-exposed, but in the end, I like it)
Ashley is finishing up her degree in Mathematics. Perhaps you've heard of implied nudes, well this is not that, I intentionally left enough information in the first image to show that she's wearing her top. There is nothing wrong with doing work as such, just wasn't my intent on this shoot as her gaze and raw beauty demand ALL of the focus!
Quite the trooper to lay down in a field of tall grass, talk about dedication!

Great shots, I like the first one, colors are great!
Many thanks - yes, that one certainly has an allure to it with the exotic coloring and her eyes - who could get tired of looking into those?
