more fun in the Philippines BORACAY PARADISE

in #photography7 years ago

BORACAY is one of the most popular places in the Philippines that offer a pristine white-sand beach. Having visited some beach locations around the Philippines, Boracay is a tiny island in the Visayas region of the central Philippines. As the most popular travel destination in the Philippines, it’s far from undiscovered — the island absolutely teems with tourists, especially Filipinos, Koreans, and Chinese. I wonder why Boracay is always on my list. Last year, we visited the island twice and never fail to amaze me. The pristine white beach, fine powdery white sand, friendly people, exuberant vibes, good food and night life is why I keep on revisiting. Although the effects of commercialization is there but I also see some positive effects of these establishments which draws and attracts more tourist to the island. Ordinances are strictly implemented to avoid over development of structures and buildings erected on the island.

Sand Castle in Boracay is one of the main attractions of the island. Usually visible during early mornings and evenings, these simple attractions normally has the current date carved to it so tourists in the island would love to take pictures and remember the date they enjoyed in this beautiful island, this castle cost me 200 pesos you can do anything you want take a picture selfies and after that its up to you weather you live or destroy it..

a little knowledge about locals whose making this castle source google..
A Sand Castle is a three-dimensional work of art using the loose material consisting of grains of rock or coral. Sand castle makers use basic materials such as wood, slippers, pale, and cones among others to make their designs. Folks living in the island, who are asking for donations for their art, usually make the sand castle in the afternoon or at night and add some nice lighting to it. The picturesque view of the sand castle, together with the warm colors of the lights makes it more appealing. Tourists who want to add their name to the design pays a small amount to the artist for the latter to carve it in the sculpture. Another option to enjoy the sand castle is to demolish it together with your friends but the artist would ask for a P100 to P200 fee for the demolition of their design.

There are several cliff jumping spots that range from 5 m to 15 m surrounded by clear waters, limestone rocks and a small hub for picnicking in the afternoon sun. It has been listed as one of the best cliff diving spots in the world by the Huffington Post, and featured in Fodor's and Asian Traveler. This magical place is known as Ariel's Point.
so would jump or not??
