My acquaintance with the tarantula spider

in #photography8 years ago

Hi Steemit!

A month ago we had an exhibition of butterflies in our city.
Also there were turtles, snakes and spiders.
With a tarantula spider it was possible to be photographed. I decided not to miss this chance.

The exhibition employee said that this is a spider girl. Her name is Mrs. Smith.
She has a calm character, so you can take pictures of her and touch her.
But it is best to do this after dinner - then it is more calm.

Are you afraid of spiders? I'm not really.
As a child, my grandfather taught me that it is not necessary to panic fear spiders, snakes, frogs and other animals that many people are afraid of. He said that you need to evaluate whether you are really threatened by an animal and act on the situation. Therefore, I learned not to be afraid.
And my sister - no. She begins to squeal at the sight of even such a small innocuous spider.

I think that many people have fear from childhood. It is very important when parents correctly teach children.
Children should know that nature is very valuable and should be cherished and loved.
And that spiders, snakes, frogs and other animals are also needed and they contribute to the cycle of life.

I wish you a good mood!

Mrs Smith is very furry. I have actually never touched a tarantula.

Yes, you are right, it is very fluffy. Thank you for visiting my blog!

Damn! Despite the childhood conditioning, I am still scared as an adult seeing tarantula... even from a distance.

Can't bring that smile like you did in the first pic!
