Hey dear Hive friends, I wish you a nice day and hope you are all doing well! I have taken some pictures of an interesting and abstract looking mineral and would like to present them with some informations and hope you will like my new post!
Aragonite can be seen here and I have photographed two different types, one is created with the help of stalactite and the other in crystal form. The name derives from the Spanish city Molina de Aragón, where the first minerals were found and described by Abraham Gottlob Werner (1749-1817).
It is relatively common worldwide and belongs to the calcium carbonates and to the mineral class of carbonates and nitrates, the formula is CaCO3. Normally, Aragonite is colorless to white, but can also have different other colors such as red, violet, yellow, blue or gray due to impurities or foreign admixtures.
I was able to find out that already in antiquity was used by the ancient Romans and Greeks as protection and healing stone. Due to the composition, which is rich in calcium, it can have a positive effect on the bones and can can generally counteract calcium deficiency and strengthen the immune system. You should always ask your doctor for the correct application or medicine!
Thank you so much for stopping by and watching! I used my camera Sony Alpha 6000 and Sony SEL-55210 Telephoto Zoom Lens (55-210mm) to take these pictures.

This mineral looks totally different and special from the previous minerals.
That’s true, very abstract from the appearance.
I like your posts friend as you shared alot of informations like that. Good job.

This is a unique image and I've never seen it but I'm grateful to be able to see you make this happen.
Some minerals simply have such an abstract appearance. Great to hear that you could see something new :)
