Project Happy Anarchist

Hola!

I've been telling myself to sit down and write out the many small projects I do throughout the week. Keeping track of the things I do in a day helps me see progress and holds me accountable for completing and following through on the projects I start. So here I am...

Since I'm the one who gets to stay in my pajamas all day if I wanted to, and usually do, my partners come to me for random small things. My beautiful wife, Gloria won employee of the month for June and asked if I can frame her certificate so she can proudly display her success at work. I just completed that small task and can't wait to see pics of how she chooses to display her achievements.

My handsome husband, Cory, was recently recognized as a "Moment Maker" at his work, an article was written and posted in the company newsletter about the impact he had on a particular customer. He was given a "Moment Maker" pin to sport on his uniform shirt, and because it's completely gold the etching of the lettering is very difficult to see, especially on a maroon shirt and from a distance. My idea was to dip it into black acrylic paint, clean and polish the lettering, and finish it with a clear coat.

Not too shabby, huh?

Car window shades are something every small-car traveler needs, but do you realize how fucking hard it is to find decent curtains or shades for your side and rear windows? It's ridiculous how shady it is that I couldn't find something suitable to purchase. Also, the ideas I found online for diy were all pretty lame for my liking. So, I'm creating my own window shades and tutorial to boot. Gotta get on this before my next trip. Here's a sneak peak of the beginning stages.

Stickerdoodling is my escape from everything and everyone. I am currently finishing up an Insane Clown Posse board I've been working on for a while now. I lost sight of life for a minute there and my desire to create was the first thing I lost. I'm relieved to find a bit of passion to create again. Picking up exactly where I left off.

The completed side of the same board under white and black light.

This is my very first stickerdoodle board, both sides. I use it daily as a bed tray, which is where I usually draft up stickers.

I call this here, the liberty box and is a prototype of sorts. This is my second one and I'm still working on improving the whole idea of it, we're talking years in the making. It's about time I bring it out again and create a new, better prototype, but while I'm at it, stickerdoodle the shit outta it!

My laptop was one of my very first stickerdoodles ever. Every now and then I go back and replace fallen stickers and give it an uplift.

Ideas for my next board are already running through my head. I won't say much but it's going to have a lot of green on it. 😜

And on that note... I'm also learning how to grow marijuana from germination. I've already seen a few failures, but each time I learn something new. I'm enjoying this process so much. Watching plants grow is one of life's most amazing rewards. Nature is constantly reminded us of how fragile, yet stoic, the process of birth and death is. This project is keeping me looking forward, which is exactly what I need at this time of life.

The bruja within is brewing up some Green Dragon tincture. We are less than a week away from reducing the alcohol so I can make some delicious special jolly ranchers from scratch, and possibly gummies. Yeah!

Working on condensing and minimalizing all my personal belongings, clothing and shoes, make-up, jewelry and accessories, and crafts have been the many things I've completed or still working on. Just finished my make-up and currently going through my t-shirt collection, which is my ultimate weakness when it comes to downsizing my wardrobe. T-shirts have become an expressive addiction and can tell a lot about me.

I've also been working on downsizing my plants. About three years ago we moved from a four bedroom home on a half-acre lot and currently living in a two bedroom apartment. My plants had a whole bedroom to themselves and grew massive. For the past few years been slowly reducing the pot sizes. My most current transplant was my Dwarf Umbrella Tree from a 12 in to a 10 in pot, and since I hacked it down it's not visible in this photo, but still, look how pretty!

What's taken up lots of my time is going through the gazillion road trip photos and trying to summon some creative juices to make something out of my latest adventure: May 10, 2018 -June 13, 2018. To get started, here's a map of the route I took...

Lastly and most importantly, I'm learning Steemit and other social platforms so I can share these projects with you. I'm totally digging being a part of this revolutionary platform, and the rad community it's developing.

If you got this far, drop a comment and let me know what current projects you're working on, and if you're in a funk and have lost an appetite for life, what flavors and creations have you brought into this world, or hope to pick up and start again?

Much love to you and yours,

You have a minor misspelling in the following sentence:

Here's a sneak peak of the beginning stages.
It should be sneak peek instead of sneak peak.
