On this morning there were clouds on the horizon. I was not sure if the clouds were too thick for a nice sunrise. Once the sun broke above the horizon I could see that extending my photoshoot well past sunrise may capture some interesting shots.
The forest fires in the western United States are adding to the red tint of the morning sunrises.

Sunrise Video
As the photographs were stitched together into this video, I noticed a slight shift from one frame to the next. The photographs in the video cover a 42 minute time-frame.
The photographs have not been enhanced after being downloaded from my camera. You are seeing the what I observed on this morning.
All the photographs taken have been compiled into a short 3 minute 21 second video. Music: "Temptation March" by Audionautix.

Beautiful to explore that out looks so nice thanks for sharing it : )
@etcmike, In my opinion clouds are reflecting as Bird Clouds and giving an beautiful effect for sure.
And in my opinion these pictures are Evident for telling how artistic is nature because, in every picture we can see the differences in the colours.
And every colour is healing and in my opinion we can call the nature as Live Art because it will never stay as it was in previous moment.
And in last picture the Sun is reflecting as Red Star and spreading the strong Red effect and it's eye-catching to watch. Stay blessed. 🙂
Your photography is really beautiful. Your photographs are worth appreciating. With photography selections very good.
Amazing!
Your photography is a story itself, you don't have to explain things in words. ☺️
These are beautiful pictures.
Your photography is very beautiful. I like Natural pictures.Realy you are a great photographer.
Dusk & Dawn!!
Awesomes thing to sit and watch.
Hi @etcmike, Good video and good photos. It's amazing that the sun always comes out on the same side, but every time it comes out it says something different. He tells me: "he never tires of being photographed, nor of giving glory to God". A hug
I am also like sunset images. Beautiful. .....
Hi @etcmike!
Really beautiful and nice to see. Well done! I am a fellow photographer from Sweden and quite new here! I follow you if that's ok. Here is one sunrise pictures I took in Sweden. :-) https://steemit.com/photography/@evergreen365/beautiful-sunrise-in-the-south-of-sweden

Amazing as always. But I always wonder how good is that you never misses on that moment when the sun is just about to, is your camera in auto mode or did you make a robot to emulate your skills and perform on your behalf.
I am watching the sunrise as it unfolds. At first it unfolds slowly, so I am snapping photos every few minutes. Between shots I am checking the metering and adjusting the exposure to maintain a metering selection. As sunrise approaches, the scene changes quickly and I am snapping photos much faster.
I am not using the auto mode settings on my camera. As I was doing my photo shoot this morning, I had every auto feature on my camera turned off including no auto-focus and no image stabilization. When I setup, I focus on the horizon then lock the focus by turning off the auto-focus. I have a bulb attached to my camera so that I do not have to touch the camera to take the shot (this eliminates the need for image stabilization).
I hope that answers how I am doing the photo shoots for the sunrises. Let me know if you have additional questions.
Have a great week!
Steem on,
Mike
Perfect response, that's a dig for me specially on the need to have a bulb to avoid the much needed color adjustments. Soon I'll apply this when I gets a real camera.
Also, Am not much familiar with the idea of metering, but am going to research more on the same.
Appreciate. Please do keep inspiring many, am topping that list.
Have an awesome week.
My camera has a built in light meter. I hold the aperture (f-stop) constant. I pick a light meter setting and adjust the exposure time to hold the setting or may the photo lighter or darker.
My camera has a setting that will do this automatically for me, but I learn more doing it the manual way.
Have a great week!
Steem on,
Mike
Wow!! Really really awesome!!!!!!
Congratulation @etcmike really awesome pictures, you always captured some amazing photographs.
We want to see photos like this, thanks for sharing.
wow!!! Good morning start with great photography...
Getting back out there the next day shows great persistence @etcmike, an important trait of any landscape photographer. Your commitment was rewarded with an unbelievable sky that you captured beautifully mate. These sorts of warm, fiery skies are sometimes difficult to predict as they depend on so many factors,, like the right type of cloud coming over at the right time with the sun at just the right angle. One thing you can guarantee though is that if you don’t get out, you won’t capture much at all. Thanks for sharing your trip out to the coast , it’s fantastic to see how someone else approaches capturing landscape...
However, these all photography/video are facinated me thanks.
REALLY GREAT
COMPILATION PHOTOS
WELL DONE @PORETCMIKE
great explain sir. you make those picture better
I really like the quiet and calm beauty of the first, and the second is stunning with the killer sunrise. One thing that continues to impress me is the amount of work you put into the video/photography production. I think many people probably realize it's a lot of work to juggle everything involved with these videos, but I don't think they fully realize the reality of how much work it really is. Going out there, waiting for the right moment, and taking a killer photo is a big enough task, but when you throw in the video recording, photo clicking, drone footage, etc.
Well done my friend.
Thanks you.
Thank you for your comment!
Most of the time in preparing the video goes into choosing the music. And once the music is chosen then it is trying to match the transitions to the music.
Have a great week!
Steem on,
Mike

@etcmike
You have done an excellent job, @etcmike! It's a beautiful video with an extraordinary piece of music. With each chord, the sun makes its triumphal entrance, illuminating everything, dyeing a yellowish red sky that is overshadowed by so much dazzle. No wonder the sunrises fill with a lot of vitality and energy! A person who shares a sunrise must have heaven won. Thank you for sharing!
Yeah great set of pictures buddy. You have very nice camera. It captures all the essence of a pleasant morning.
Thanks for "being that guy behind the cam" and for sharing those fotos.
Cheers!
