Street photography in Hellsinki the previous weekend, aka spying on random people. I didn't do too much photography during the weekends but happened to catch a few couples in great scenes and had to capture them to my camera. All of these happened in a course of an hour and I'm pretty sure the universe is just mocking a single girl this summer! Oh well, at least I got to exploit these couples for my financial gain, sounds dirty doesn't it...
Shot with the Nikon D7200 and Nikkor 35mm f/1.8.
Here is my interpretation of these 3 scenes.
1st picture: He is a wannabe boyfriend. She has her guard up (closed hands in front) and trying not to get too close. He has the tired hat-on-backward, trying-to-look-younger-than-he-is look. Definitely not a player. She is probably hoping for a phone call from one of her friends so she can make her escape.
2nd picture: These are probably just two friends sharing a umbrella. Outside chance they are two women. Definitely not hetero with romantic intentions.
3rd picture: These two are comfortable with each other. Have explored each other recently. Haven't been together a long time, but just long enough to want more.
I agree on the first one, he wants more than she does. But they still look cute together! I think the couple under the umbrella is an actual couple because they were strolling separate from the group of other Japanese(?) tourists, clearly wanting some time for themselves. The third one is definitely a couple dating for a while, they were hugging each other while waiting for the rain to stop.
Great Post 😆
It is all about the knees. If people choose to point their knees towards each other when they sit, when it is not required, then there is a closer connection.
Picture #1, his is more interested in her, than she is in him.
Picture #2, undetermined as they are walking
Picture #3, both are interested and close
Just my take.
It's all about the boner my dude.
Heart touching photography......I love these. All the best bro.
Bro?
See the way their both serious at each other, I bet they highly interested in each other, if not lovers.
That's an interesting idea. And there is no expectation of privacy in a public venue.
My guesses:
I'm guessing that in the first picture the guy wants to be more than friends, he was leaning in towards the girl more.
That's probable. The girl is oriented away from him which looks defensive.
A bit related to this topic.
Some comments are as good as the video.
