Snooze button on replay, slept in makeup, loosened curls and knots in the neck. Pillow marks on the cheeks.
How can you not love the morning light, so soft and beautiful, promises of another day of making changes, for better or for worse.
Me by me with Nikon D7200 and Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8
A wonderful shooting mode with smart lighting, that makes the difference
Is there such a thing as sleeping too late in your life these days?
No and yes. I have no obligation to wake up early, but I don't want to waste all day sleeping, and I do my best work on a light like this, so I have to be up to capture it :)
I see but the brightness of midday would be the least productive time for you to be up and taking photographs, wouldn't it. Evenings and mornings, on the other hand, would be ideal.
Yes, exactly, I really need to learn that I just have to let the camera rest on mid day, it's useless for me at that time!
How long does it usually take for you to edit your photos? Do you usually edit your photos right after shooting them and clearing your place of whatever props you might have?
It depends, if the light is good like on these it was, it doesn't take me that long, maybe around 45mins for the whole lot. I'm usually a few steps ahead and what ever I publish, have been taken on a previous day and I work on them on the day I publish the post. But it always depends on where I am and what I have been doing.
I see, so processing time should not affect your sleep schedule much.
Beautiful work...was this all done with natural light?
Yes of course!

You’re like me, you either :
Don’t have anybody to take pictures of you
OR
Just know you’re damn good with a camera, even when you are working with a timer/timelapse.
I bet you’re even crafty enough to pull all of this off without a tripod 🧐🤔
Thank you, and I'm sorry to disappoint but a tripod and a remote are my "secret" weapons for all self portraits of mine. I'm not a wizard!
You are certainly welcome.
I am slightly surprised, but I use a tripod sometimes too. There are lots of times I don’t feel like carrying it around though, so I must get creative with anything that I can find around. I tend to get pretty lucky when it comes to lining up the perfect frame, sometimes I’m forced to crop though 😨 that’s my filthy secret, of and I have a intense relationship with Snapseed 🤫
Wow the light in these shots are stunning I love the green of the plant in the corner cracking 💯🐒
Love how you play with lights!
Thank you! It's easy when you have natural light :)
good job !

Steemit lets you work from bed so that's something :.
Your photography gets better with ever picture you take.
