This sunny bright autumn day was the last, before the endless rains began and the leaves from the trees were all fallen.
I started my walk in Veliky Ustyug from my favorite places. The first is the Hillfort, which is located on the border of two parts of the city.
View of the Church of Myrrh-Bearers and Lake Alexander.
View of Mironositsky churches from the earthen wall in the Hillfort.
The Hillfort every year more and more overgrown and dilapidated. I hope someday this area will be put in order, because it has a huge tourist potential.
The Church of the Wives of Myrrh-Bearers, which houses the museum of New Year's and Christmas tree decorations.
Smolnikov lake is very close. Here I also like to walk at any time of the year.
Another place in Veliky Ustyug, where I like to be, is Zaovrazhskaya Street, where Nemchinov creek used to flow.
Previously, there was a square of the World in which its grew spruce. Trees were recognized as sick and everything was cut down. The square was a gloomy place, now it is light and cozy.
The marshy canal is all that remains of the stream that once flowed here.
The Church of the Presentation of the Lord is visible in the distance.
View of Pavel Pokrovsky Street.
At the end of the street Zaovrazhskaya many old dilapidated houses.
This is what attracts her, because the provincial flavor has been preserved here.
Finally, there will be two frames not interconnected, but they are made on the same day.
Maxim Gorky Street overlooking the Church of Simeon Stylites.
The building of the House of Fashion Granfather frost in Revolutionary Lane.
