Good the season is almost here. I always try to take enough mushrooms photos to keep me going... photographically.. I do not eat them! Not those anyway.
Here in the south I will still have to wait a bit longer, but other parts of Europe start to see the forest wonders popping. And the tradition of picking mushrooms to eat is wildly spread there too. We used to go pick them at least once a week to the forest near-by. Everyone had their favourite spot and after many hours of walking around and enjoying the silent and cool, woodlands. Just me, my thoughts and the unlucky fellas I was trying to find. After getting back home we were always comparing who picked more. Usually all the mushrooms only last though the winter, so it is the right time to refill the pantry too.

We have a few deadly ones and some very tasty ones but right now, it's too hot and dry for anything

Pewnie nie zjadliwe, więc chyba tylko dla szpanu :) Nie znam się na nich. To znaczy na zbieraniu. Na jedzeniu trochę tak :)
