Too many flowers lately...

Those must a type of Cistus aka Rockrose. There was no blooms anymore as I shot it last week and all bushes were dried up and looking like this. They get that pretty, rusty colour when the die back. I do see them around a lot on those unattended spots. They grow and spread like weeds. And in spring and summer they bloom so beautifully!Time for some #drystuff. Can't keep showing all the pretties all the time right? Though all those seed pods and dry sticks are beautiful in their own way too.

That little chest inside will eventually open and throw fresh seeds around. Then in spring a new cycle begins.
