On Vancouver Island, there is a mystical place called Mystic Beach, at the end of the beautiful Juan De Fuca trail. It has a waterfall going over a stunning Rocky cliff, a rope-swing, and the gorgeous ocean crashing onto the shore, enveloping the beach at high tide. I shared another photo of this beach awhile back, but wanted to share a few more. Above is me standing on the ocean's edge. Taking her in.

Me enjoying the swing.

This one is a look at some of the bull kelp that is scattered around the beach and along the Pacific coast on the Island. Apparently this stuff is edible!

Here is the Pete Wolfe Creek bridge you cross enroute to the beach.

The forest along the trail is so beautiful when the sun is shining through the trees. I could easily live there happily if I got to trek those woods and breathe the sweet ocean air everyday. Maybe one day.

There is a quote that says, "We all come from the sea but we are not all of the sea. Those of us who are, children of the tides, must return to it again and again." Not sure the source of this quote, but it speaks to me. There is something just so energizing and rejuvenating about being by the ocean. It has it's own powerful spirit in a way. It makes me feel at home in my heart and at peace.

Another stunning glimpse into your neck of the world. It’s impossible to leave once you’ve had a taste of beach life. We also live near the shore (Atlantic Ocean in NJ) and find it hard to leave the area. Beautiful quote..I’ve seen many versions of this quote.

Thank you! I don't actually live anywhere near this magical place, just love to visit and take a million photos, heh. I would love to live near the ocean. :)

Great write up and pictures! Thanks for sharing.

Really beautiful!

Thanks, yes it sure is!!
