Confessions of a bug addict [My attempt at macro photography]

in #photography8 years ago (edited)

Grabbing a coffee at sunrise and heading down to the greenhouse to hang out with these tiny fellas has become my favourite part of the day.

There's something so relaxing and meditative about delving into their micro world for a while and practicing the stillness needed to nail these shots. In fact, the whole thing's kind of become my favourite soap opera. If you sit and observe for long enough, all sorts of stories begin to unfold as you watch the unveiling of their different personalities.

Each morning, these guys are the stars and I'm taking their close ups.

So here's the result and my attempt at some macro photography... In an attempt to share their beauty with you. Taken with much love and appreciation for these little creatures.

The buggin details are remarkable!

Sometimes when I sit in the woods, the bugs get all over me, but I don't care, I don't think they can hurt anybody.

The pictures are beautiful, please keep up the good work :)
