Munising Falls is a wonderful place in the summer. Full of animals and plants and human visitors. But in winter it becomes a quiet frozen winter wonderland. The water freezes and creates a curtain of ice. The surrounding area is laden with snow. It is very peaceful and makes a perfect mantel piece.

Are there many visitors in that type of weather? Just wondering how many people go out to see the ice falls.
seems to be. we saw a few. and the trails were packed down.
That frozen waterfall is awesome. The entire water flow must be frozen.
