There are more than one city in the world which is promoted as the Birthtown of our modern Culture. Jericho, Tenochtitlan, Theben, Chengzhou ....nearly every continent has it's first "modern" city.
Rome is one of this first "Megacities" of the Antique. The outstanding Role of Rome in the european history is obvious. Everytime i stay there i'm impressed of the Signs from hundred's of years Culture and architecture you just walk by.
As the role change from the Capital of the roman Empire to the centre of the christian church the architecture changing. More and more artists and famous architects come there to create the famous Buildings we all know well. I love to see them. I can show you just some samples because the whole city is a piece of Art with the vatican as centre.
Do you was ever there? If not i hope you have the Chance for it. Take your time. Don't hurry. It's time to explore. Hidden art, some secrets or just a place to think there. And my special advice. Take a walk at night. It's worth!
