Thanks! The old 7D is pretty slow to focus, especially in the macro range, so it's more an exercise in patience and repetition. Of about 50 butterfly photos, I ended up with a handful of perfectly focused ones. I usually have to lose either the sky or shadow color, too, since the sensor doesn't have much dynamic range. It still gets nice results, but it can be a challenge.
