Photography Continued

Unfortunately, yesterday I had to cut short my blog due to internet issues. Today it seems to be working better, off and on again but right now things are good.

Last summer, I visited a new city and new little towns in southern Ontario which brought great photography adventures and new experiences with my camera. The first thing I dove into, as shown in my last post, were the dead fish washed up on shore from Lake Erie. It's not something I get to see where I live, and even though there are plenty of lakes here, why don't we see any?

The next adventure we took was in a small town filled with rich houses to see the great Lake Erie during sunset. I would have loved to take pictures of these massive houses but as much as I enjoy taking pictures of weird things, I'm just not that weird.

We took a little walking trail along side of the water and waited for the sun to set while watching boats drive by and taking in the scenery. Honestly a beautiful place to see and I can't wait to go there again. We, in which I mean my boyfriend and I, do plan on going this fall and I do really want to capture more scenery with all the coloured leaves.

Also while waiting, I took the chance and time to adjust my camera settings without evening knowing what I was doing, capturing some practice shots and even took a quick one of this handsome man. Couldn't resist. You can see in the picture that it's not completely straight. It was difficult with being on a floating dock, aside from that, I do not mind showing my flaws and errors. Everything is a work in progress and a learning experience. It wouldn't be natural to have everything perfect.

As the sun was setting, the colours in the sky were just stunning! Romantic the occasion may have been, we did have our quick intimate moments and then hurried to the cameras. Seriously, I can't wait to go back!

The trees out there were beautiful, everything just left me in awe. With the warm air on my skin, it was hard to resist the want to dive in, but this lake is seriously deep.

That is all the pictures I took out this far off my camera from that day. All these pictures were taken with my Canon Rebel SL3 using both 18-55mm lense and a 75-300mm lense.

Our trip to Southern Ontario is what really started my photography adventure and the itch to learn more. Keep a lookout for more photography adventures in the near future!

Your photos are amazing 🤩

Thank you so much! This comment means a lot to me, I appreciate you coming by ^_^

That sunset needs a frame! Fantastic.

I wasn't expecting to open up the laptop and seeing this amazing reply to my pictures! Thank you so very much! Two great comments like this totally pumps up my day :D

Excellent post and shots. It brought back memories of time in Canada, I've visited there a couple of times, stopping in London and St Thomas, also Niagara, I did have a visit to Lake Erie while I was there too, and visited a lovely little town called Port Stanley. It's over 20 years since the first visit, and my second visit was in 2004, where does all the time go? I am however on a mission to go back to Canada for my 50th birthday, I'm just hoping I can build up enough hive to help fund my new Canadian adventure. Thanks again for a great post, and you've also gained a new follower :-)

Thank you so much! I'm glad to have brought back some memories, it is always good to relive them ^_^

I do believe I am going back this fall, if funds allow it. It's actually not that far from where you visited, a couple hours I'd say. And by the looks of it, you are overdue to go back as well! I wish you luck with your new adventures and hopefully you gain lots and lots of hive to help fund it. Thank you for following! Much appreciated and I am following you in return hoping that I can help fund your adventures with what little I have. My account is still small at the moment haha.
