When I'm wandering the streets of Shanghai (or any city for that matter), I try to remember to look up every now and then. The photos that present themselves can give a unique perspective on the city.
In this case, I realised that I was walking under a highly reflective canopy. I hung around for a few minutes photographing the reflections (Tip: A camera with a flip out screen allows you to shoot scenes like this without twisting your neck). In the end, it was this one that worked best. Rotating 180º gave it just the surreal and etherial quality that I was looking for.
