Agreed. I lived in Golden for a few years, I was back there a few weeks ago on my Way to Red Wood national park in California, I truly forgot how beautiful it was until I went back there. I truly miss it now.

It was surely worth the drive. The highway going in pretty much cuts right through the forest. There are huge trees the size of your car on both sides of the road, it is truly something I will never forget.
