Beyond excited to travel to lake arrowhead for a winter vacation / travel. Sadly, on this journey I won't be taking the G63 AMG, but my BMW X1 which I still love just as much but just a little less. California hasn't had any rain at least no major rain as compared to the winter of 2016, so no precipitation no snow. Thus the X1 will be much more efficient in this journey considering I am not doing much off road driving this time around. I think I am the only person in the Southern California area that actually takes his G Wagon off road, that is were the G Wagon feels at home not on Rodeo Drive.
The BMW X1 is a fantastic choice for an adventure this X1 comes with the BMW xdrive system though not a true 4 wheel drive system like the G63 (there is literally no car with the 4 wheel drive system of the G63). The X1 is no slacker, I do have the X1 chiped with the Race Chip on the freeway at 75MPH I average about 37MPG which is almost 3 times that of the G Wagon, making the X1 is easier on the wallet.
That second photo is amazing, did you use lightwave for the post processing? Looks really good!

Man since installing the race chip i won't be going back to anything else! It's the best investment. I haven't installed it in my M4 but that will be the next step. :) I rent out my M4 on Turo and the last guy that had it decided to break the rim. I know sounds impossible. He managed to do it.

Funny you mention that I've been very interested in getting a second car to rent out on Turo when I move to LA. Many of the people I've talked to said that they can consistently rent out their car enough to pay for itself. Is this something that's true for you?
Yeah Turo works (sometimes) people are of course driving the market prices lower and lower which make it impossible to actually make a profit. After this next year I am going to be done with Turo. I can make 10 times that amount of money trading Crypto.
If you are planning on getting a car on Turo get a convertible those are the hottest.
